Aleta is a Cape Cod native, wife, and mother to one daughter. She is an advocate for rescuing and fostering animals. Aleta received her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Southern Vermont College but soon realized her true passion for working with animals. She has previously worked in Animal Control and rescue organizations, bringing valuable knowledge and experience to the veterinary field. Aleta has worked as a Veterinary Technician for the past 14 years and truly cannot imagine doing anything else.

Outside of her professional life, Aleta enjoys snowboarding, gardening, and taking long walks with her dogs—Skylar, Stefan, and Taz. She also shares her home with two cats, June and Thundercat. Aleta has also served in the military.
